Multi-Screen IPTV: One Subscription Across Several Devices

Install your IPTV subscription on the TV, the tablet and the laptop — and understand how simultaneous connections actually work.

Most households don't watch on just one screen. Multi-screen IPTV means using one subscription across several devices — the living-room TV, a bedroom stick, a phone on the go — without juggling separate accounts.

The key idea to understand is the difference between devices and connections. This page explains it and shows how to plan the right setup for your home.

Devices vs simultaneous connections

You can usually install your subscription on as many devices as you like. What is limited is the number of streams playing at the same moment — your connections. A one-connection plan lets one device watch at a time; a plan with more connections lets several people watch different channels simultaneously.

If a household member starts a stream while all connections are in use, their player shows an error such as "max connections reached". Stopping playback on another device frees the connection again.

How many connections do you need?

Count the number of screens that are realistically in use at the same time during your busiest moments — a big match, a Sunday evening — not the total number of devices in the house. That number is the connection count to choose when you contact us about your IPTV subscription.

Setting up IPTV on several devices

  • Use the same player on every device where possible, so favourites and settings feel familiar — compare options on the IPTV player page.
  • Follow the setup page for each platform: Firestick, Smart TV, Android, Apple and PC or Mac.
  • Close the player completely on devices you've finished with — some apps keep streaming in the background.
  • Make sure your home network can carry several streams at once; our internet speed guide shows how to calculate it.

Sharing inside your household

A multi-connection subscription is designed for one household. Sharing your access details outside it means you lose control of your own connections and may find your streams blocked at the worst moment. Keep your M3U and Xtream Codes details private.
